According to the Meriam-Webster Dictionary, bravery refers to the quality that allows someone to do dangerous or frightening things. To live in this world, people must demonstrate courage, but unfortunately, this is difficult to achieve. When people don't know how dangerous a situation is, they aren't afraid of it. In some situations, people are so unaware of how dire the situation is that they become stupid and reckless. In these situations, people are more reckless than courageous, but still contain some courage. Children are often the bravest and most reckless people; they are simply too naive to see the danger in a situation. For the most part, Bruno, like many children, is brave and reckless but sometimes displays fear; he's not afraid to disobey authority and befriend someone on the other side of the fence.
