Teenagers can learn about high school troubles and form our popular media. The media plays a huge role in how teenagers go about their lives. The media tells teenagers what they should eat, what size they should be, and what they can wear. The media is most concerned about the appearance of people, mainly celebrities. (Lilienfeld, Lynn, and Namy) Adolescents can suffer from anorexia, family problems, social stressors, and cultural stressors in many ways.
