    And by the time I got to middle school, I wasn't as enthusiastic about literacy as I used to be. I lost the motivation I once had to write and felt like my skills were wasted. My once-extensive vocabulary was disappearing and my daily writing time was nonexistent. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I began to enjoy writing again. My mission was to write about something that changed you or had meaning in your life. By that time, my grandmother had passed away and school wasn't really my favorite place, so we tried to tell a fake story about how school had changed me, my teacher English, Mrs. Heartt, already knew that I had no feeling in doing so. and made me start again. So I looked for any old newspaper to pass off as a story and found the story I wrote for my admissions letter about my grandmother. I was planning to drop out of high school right before she passed away and I thought it was a logical thing to do since she had done it and was still successful and I didn't. I didn't really have an outlet and more, like I was used to with writing.
