    The American education system emphasizes a smooth transition from high school to college, and eventually career. By the time a student graduates from high school, they are expected to be able to consider their career direction. As such, career and technical education (CTE) is essential in helping the student objectively develop their career. This is essential for developing a competent and skilled workforce to drive the economy forward in a competitive global market (Meeder & Suddreth 2012). Good education is the backbone of any sustainable economy. Therefore, education must be given high priority and necessary resources must be provided. Career and technical education uses the approach of beginning with the end in mind. First of all, it allows a student to choose their area of ​​interest early enough. This helps the student make the necessary decisions that enable them to achieve their career goals. In other words, the student develops a vision, plans, and focuses on achieving it. The strength of a vision is important for building a great career; the vision provides inner motivation and determination to the learner. This stimulates him and leads him on a path that leads to great achievements in his career. The results-oriented approach gives students a clear objective that allows them to measure and improve their progress. In the recent past, the number of school dropouts has increased. This is because a majority of students cannot identify the correlation between the course content and what is practiced in their future career – hence the student lacks purpose while working hard in the education system .
