    In today's society, individuals differ in many ways, with some possessions becoming more valuable than others. Although there are a wide variety of choices, I have chosen what has impacted and affected my life the most, and ranked them in the top three on my list. I placed God, my family and my education above everything and everything else. As I bow my head and pray, I feel reassured and calm knowing that there is someone above who cares about me, a feeling of peace knowing that all the tribulations I have gone through face I have never faced alone. It is for this reason and many more that I put God number one on my list. I always went to church thinking it was okay to call myself “Christian,” but as it turned out, I was a hypocrite and didn’t even realize it. I'm not sure anyone really realizes it until something drastic happens. in their lives. This radical moment happened in my life when I was a sophomore in high school. I became very ill; my joints hurt everywhere in my body, making every movement very painful...
