I can listen to it when I'm upset or angry to make me happy. I can remember certain things when it comes to my favorite music. One thing I've always wondered is how music can be a multi-faceted factor in making me feel these different ways and remember the way I do. How does my brain factor in all of this too? Since music is a major and constant variable in today's society. In this article I will discuss these things and how music affects the brain when it comes to certain things; long and short term memory, how it affects our mood, the flow of our day, our health and rehabilitation, and even therapy for mental illnesses? This includes listening, performing, composing, reading, writing and any other activity such as expressing yourself through music. First, let's see what happens when you hear music.
