Understand that more important than the level of technological knowledge of the principal is his or her ability to create a school culture where everyone is a learner and has the responsibility to use available technological tools to the best of their abilities. When educational leaders support and encourage teachers, allowing them to take risks and sometimes fail, teachers are more likely to persevere and strive to reach a level of comfort and knowledge that allows them to use the technology with their students. Brockmeir, Sermon, and Hope (2005) stated: “The disposition of the manager influences the implementation of an innovation and the extent of fidelity with which it is implemented; therefore, school principals are also central to realizing the promise of technology by facilitating its integration to transform teaching and learning” (p..47).
