    I was born on a hot summer day in Deland, Florida. I grew up in Seville, Florida, which is a very small county style town. I attended Seville public school from kindergarten to 6th grade. The Seville public school was a very small school with excellent teachers. One of the teachers was Mrs. Stevenson, who was a third grade teacher; Mrs. Stevenson inspired me to become a teacher. Her students were always first and she made learning fun. One day I will be a great teacher, Mrs. Stevenson said. My name is Nancy Perez. I was born on May 24, 1980. I was raised by my grandparents who I truly appreciate for all their hard work and dedication to me. I attended elementary school at Seville Public School, from Kindergarten to 6th grade. After elementary school, I attended Taylor Middle High School in Pierson, Florida. I was a very athletic student; I was the first student to start a girls soccer team in 1995 at Taylor Middle High School. I played football for 4 years; I was captain of the team.
