    We will never know how much rejection can change a person's life, except when it is experienced personally. Many people feel lost, alone, and afraid simply because they are labeled “different.” Misconceptions are formed about everyone, based on society's views of what is considered "normal" and what is not. Misconceptions arise because people do not give themselves enough time to form an appropriate judgment about a person. Society has become harsh and critical of everyone who expresses different characteristics and whose actions differ from others. The more society develops and advances through technology, the more difficult it becomes to escape unwarranted criticism. People are classified into stereotypical groups based on their unique ways of expressing themselves and interacting with others. Stereotypes are used as an excuse not to socialize with people who are different from each other, which then leads to misconceptions. Although they are mainly observed among adolescents, stereotypes are omnipresent. For example, there are many misconceptions about shy people. Contrary to general misconceptions that shy people are quiet, don't listen to anyone or anything, and aren't outgoing, shy people can exhibit traits of someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Stereotypes are the qualities that characterize a person based on their personal background. hold some sort of truth there.
