His educational credo was that education is "the fundamental method of progress and social reform." However, he also emphasized that education should not focus only on producing intellectual and moral changes, but should School cannot, on its own, guarantee change in the social order, but it provides the impetus needed for change. As such, children can be the tools through which education is used to change the social order. (Kipton, 2013, pp.129-137) Changing Social Circumstances: Although social circumstances may be different for urban and rural children, it is the school that is responsible for providing an equal learning ground for two children. , with the current education system, children in rural areas are left behind, and the prolonged difference lasts into adulthood and naturally affects society. Most children in rural areas are either from low SES families or migrant children. As such, they do not have access to the same facilities that children in urban areas enjoy.
