    Sweden is a Scandinavian country, located in Northern Europe. Neighboring countries are Norway and Finland. The capital of Sweden is Stockholm. Sweden is the third largest country in the European Union with a total area of ​​450,295 square kilometers (173,860 square miles). Its total population is approximately 9.6 million, and its population density is low, with approximately 21 inhabitants per square kilometer (54/sq mi). The population is mainly concentrated in the southern region of the country, with around 85% of the total population living in urban areas. Regarding ethnicity, Sweden has an indigenous population consisting of Finnish and Sami minority Swedes, foreign-born or first-generation immigrants, Finns, Yugoslavs, Danes, Norwegians, Greeks and Turks (CIA, 2014).
