This will give me an advantage during my studies, as I will be able to use my knowledge of scientific concepts in my lesson planning and studies. Studying biology helped me to be resourceful and disciplined. This means that I am able to organize myself and complete tasks and assignments on time. This will benefit me during my studies because I will be able to complete all the required readings and assignments on time. I also write regularly for the college's online student newspaper. The majority of my articles focus on issues affecting the education system in today's society. This experience helped me write more coherently and with more meaning. It also gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge about the national curriculum and issues affecting the system. I want to explore what makes a good teacher; the kind who knows how to engage a class. I aspire to be the kind of teacher who has the ability to make understandable the subject you have been trying to understand for ages. To gain knowledge and experience in the teaching profession, I carried out work experience in two different schools working with different age groups. This experience was extremely enriching because I had the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professors.
