Business decisions made within an organization can be made by individuals or groups. Webster's Collegiate Dictionary defines "ethics" as "the discipline dealing with right and wrong and moral duty and obligation, a set of moral principles or values, or a theory or system of moral values." . Ethics helps individuals decide whether an act is moral or immoral, right or wrong. Ethics can be based on natural law, religious principles, parental and family influence, educational and life experiences, and cultural and societal expectations.
