    Introduction: The project focuses on diversity in the workplace. Our goals are to show how important it is to have diversity in a workplace, how the manager has an important role in workforce diversity and what challenges the workplace may face with different types of diversity. The idea arose from how an individual might react to different people with varying diversities. The importance of this project was to gain an understanding of the methodology and concepts contributing to workplace diversity. Literary Perspective: Diversity has several meanings that can define and explain what diversity means. Starting with the first meaning, Diversity is the collective strength of the experiences, skills, talents and cultures that each employee brings to the company. The second definition of diversity concerns the different ways in which people can stand out from other people based on their ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, national origin, and sexual orientation. There are three ways to perceive diversity:1. Workforce diversity: the differences and similarities among people in an organization.2. Superficial diversity: Demographic differences, easily perceptible between each employee, can generate stereotypes.3. Deep diversity: the differences in values, personality and professional preferences of each employee. Why is managing workforce diversity so important? The benefits fall into three main categories:1.
