Business is a big part of my family and started to grow on me. My father worked in sales for many years and is now a corporate president at Staples. My mother started her own cleaning business and is now self-employed, and my uncle owns a golf course and a pump and well business. My other uncle has his own handyman business, while one of my aunts operates a redimix and construction business. So we could say that business is a bit like blood. What I Know When it comes to business, especially when it comes to starting one, I tend to think I know everything. Yet in reality, I don't even really know where to start, enough to make a business successful, or even open the doors enough to make the first dollar. When I first think about working/running a business, I don't think of any boss besides myself, the rules are made by me and no one else, and it seems like a great plan to me. Plus, all profits from the business go directly to me, and I decide what happens to them. Although I know there's more to it than that, it's budgeting, working with clients, knowing when to expand and when to pull out. I also know that in business, if you're not moving forward, you're going backwards. What I want to know I want to know more about starting and running my own business. With what I saw in developing countries around me, business became more and more popular, I realized that it was a great career potential for me. So I would like to know where to start, what training is needed, where can I legalize my business, how important is the working environment and the gathering of employees.
