To begin with, why does Eve rename the animals after Adam has already named them. In particular, I don't understand why Eve renames all the animals even though Adam already named them, and she gives them names that don't make sense for what the actual animal looks like and acts. Also, how does Eve know what to call every animal she meets. For example, I don't understand, just like Adam, how Eve knows what to call each animal and what they look like when she encounters each animal in the wild. Finally, why does Eve like change after forgetting the names she gave the animals. For example, I don't understand why the last two lines of the poem say that Eve forgot the names of the animals, but then appreciated the change. The whole ending of this poem was very confusing, extremely difficult to read and understand. To summarize, this poem seemed extremely confusing to me and very difficult to understand why Eve goes around and changes the names of already named animals but then forgets their names.
