In general, most businesses want to stand out from the competition and there are multiple ways a business can do this with Facebook advertising. The most popular techniques that businesses tend to use when advertising on Facebook are page likes, website clicks, app installs, and paid post engagement (Gregorio). Page likes are generated when a business decides to create a Facebook page to promote their product or brand. The more likes the page receives, the more likely it is to be noticed, whether in the newsfeed portion of the site or during an individual search for interest. The higher the number of likes on the page, purely based on the fact that a higher number of likes could represent popularity among users, attracting more users to the page (Gregorio). Website clicks are another aspect of Facebook advertising that aims to attract consumers by clicking through to their specific website or Facebook page. Using this method, there has been a proven increase in the number of users landing on the web page. The click-to-website method has an influence on promoting the page or website without having to maintain it as much as you would if an individual chose not to use this method (Gregorio). App installs are becoming a very important part of Facebook advertising. As more people turn to their mobile devices
