Essay / Research Methodology In Research - 963
A review of the methodological literature is necessary, as it establishes a basic framework for the proposed study. This helps in determining the research design on which to base the investigation (Sekaran, 1992). This helps identify key variables and demonstrate that the proposed research contributes something new by advancing what is already known in the research area. It also helps in narrowing down the research area and formulating questions around it to collect the required data. Each question should be related to the objective of the study. Literature review is a very important aspect of the research process, it provides the information and guides the researcher to design a new instrument or use an existing instrument that can be used to analyze the data.
