By cost, I mean the financial cost, personal sacrifice, and time required to complete a degree. Students evaluate these factors every day; but in the end, will it all be worth it? As a student, I have witnessed these phases not only for myself, but also for my classmates. For example, we see students changing majors because it's way too difficult or people taking the most academically challenging courses in order to make the most money possible. Yet, at the end of the day, I still believe that going to college, getting your degree, and learning what you have is beneficial if you get the most out of your college experience. The pain and challenges you may encounter during college can be difficult in the moment, but it all depends on what you do with them. There are many views on whether or not college is worth it. Some people think college is worth it, and others think it's not. This can go either way depending on how you weight factors and costs. Some people think that college isn't for everyone and are sometimes forced to go without their own intention. There are people who really don't like school and are pressured to continue whether they like it or not. There are cases where students attend college not because they want to but because they have to.
