I think that being content and satisfied with life contributes to almost all of a person's happiness. Many people buy a big house, a new car, luxury clothes, etc. just to make it seem like they're happy, but often they're not. Despite what people tell you, money is NOT directly linked to happiness. Happiness comes from the simple pleasures of life: having a family, being kind to people, walking in nature, being loved, the list goes on. Does money buy any of these things? On the other hand, Sal and Dean's problems finding happiness ARE a direct result of not being satisfied, constantly feeling like they need something more, and not being satisfied with their own being.
