    September 11, 2001 (“September 11th”) should always be remembered as the most horrible day. Thousands died and about 10,000 injured in and around the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and on the overturned plane that landed in a field in Pennsylvania. 343 paramedics and firefighters died in the worst terrorist attack on American soil, alongside the 37 fallen NYPD officers saving lives that day. This Tuesday morning was normal; like every Tuesday, all the workers killed had experienced it, until the first plane hit the 80th floor of a 110-story building built to withstand gusts of up to 200 mph. “A funny accident”. Once the second plane hit the 60th floor, it was no longer a freak accident. America was under attack. September 11 was the worst foreign attack ever perpetrated on American soil. When the terrible attack took place in New York, it foreshadowed the war in Afghanistan and the NSA. Many factors led to 9/11.
