    Looking at today's society, any large city could be mistaken for a bee's comb. People are running around frantically trying to finish their calendars and plan events down to the minute. Keeping up with this busy schedule puts enormous stress on the body and mind. Almost everyone aspires to live a stress-free life, and the number of people searching the Internet for tips about reducing stress or plans to “de-stress” is alarming. Lucid dreaming offers benefits to people who experience stress on a daily basis. Sometimes stress can't be controlled, but what if individuals could go anywhere in the world to relieve stress? Lucid dreaming allows you to see, hear, and feel anything you desire. This means that while everyone in the house is asleep, you are experiencing a vacation in the Bahamas. Two individuals, Hope and Dr. Ursula Voss, both provide personal insight to show how lucid dreaming is used to help people cope with stress. Lucid dreaming is beginning to be used for people suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. People suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder tend to have nightmares about this event. Each night, individuals must experience the event that stresses them out the next day. Dr Ursula Voss, from the JW Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, said in her journal: "Promoting gamma oscillations during REM sleep in post-traumatic stress disorder with re-occurring nightmares could trigger lucid dreams and possibly allow for active changes in dream content. "Using lucid dreaming as therapy for PTSD sufferers shows that the average person can relieve stress through lucid dreaming.
