An advantage is to know that after your death, life does not end at death, but that there is life after death . So, Christians know that there is life after life and they do not fear death because they know that they will be in heaven with God. Another benefit of Christian belief is that we can be forgiven for our sins. The Christian ethic of forgiveness is a very important foundation (Fiala, 2012). For God to forgive Christians, Christians will have to forgive others. When Christians forgive, it means they let go of their grudges and do not define in their lives how they have been hurt (Jarman, 2011). Sometimes it can be difficult for Christians to understand how they can forgive someone who has wronged them, no matter what they have done. But Christianity influences how people behave when they are willing to forgive. They also want to do it because it pleases God and they want to please Him. It is the unconditional love that God shows them and wants them to pass that love on to other people. Reflection As a Christian, I continue to grow in my faith. I still don't understand things. And I'm still looking for answers from God. But I pray it. I try to live a Christian walk as much as I can. When someone wrongs me, I forgive them even though sometimes it can be difficult to do. But I know this is what God wants me to do. I integrate God into my life, from small things to big things. I know that because God is powerful, there is nothing He cannot handle. I hope that by following God, I will be with Him one day. It gives me great joy and makes me want to serve him.
