Imagine a time when someone from the group of people who looked after the pharaoh in ancient Egypt in the mid-1000s BC. They are just starting to build the Great Pyramid of Giza, but how can anyone think it is actually being built? By man or by something greater than man? The stones used to build the great pyramids all weighed a ton. Explain how they would get these stones up to the top? If a person lived at that time you would know, but today there are many different theories about how they were transported from place to place. They have no trees in Egypt, so there is no way they would use a normal pulley system of the time to move the huge stones. This essay will focus on ancient Egypt as we have already explained, Easter Island and the strange carved stone heads, a place in Peru and finally the newest known large rock building called Coral Castle in Florida. Coral Castle was built in the 1920s by a man named Edward Leedskalnin who claimed to have discovered the ancient Egyptian art of rock magnetism, levitating huge boulders ("Ancient Aliens"). Edward was a very short man, only about 5 feet 7 inches tall, who only worked nights because he didn't want to reveal his secret or let anyone see him doing his amazing work ("Mystery, UFOs, Aliens, Conspiracy Theories » ). Many people think that we have not been visited in the past, but how can we explain Edward Leedskalnin, the Great Pyramid of Giza, Easter Island or even a pharaoh banished from Egypt. What really happened in the past to cause all these unexplainable things to happen? Ancient Egypt was said to be a great place of culture and religion, but there are many things that are built in the past that are...... middle of paper. .....honestly, the heads of Easter Island, there is no way to explain them, even the smallest. The stone the heads are made from cannot be found anywhere else on the small island. It's amazing if our primitive ancestors had moved these magnificent huge stones to the island themselves. A person can believe what the paper says or believe whatever they want, but according to many people the best way to explain something like this is ancient aliens. History.com.
