Essay / Group Analysis Essay - 1614
The groups were assigned by the professor and composed of diverse students from diverse backgrounds. Our first task was to draft a group contract that involved the participation of all group members and required closer contact between students. Tuckman’s Stages of Group Development model can be used to show how our group worked together, as our “4U” team went through each stage. An example of the training stage was the first meeting in which everyone in the group tried to be polite and asked questions such as "What's major?" ”, “What is your GPA?” ", we tried to be kind to each other and be careful. avoid misunderstandings at the start of our work. However, everything changed when we were given the task of writing a contract and our group entered the second stage of the Tuckman model. We experimented and tried to analyze who is more successful at brainstorming, writing, proofreading and task management. For example, one of the explicit norms was that everyone had to be prepared for the meeting (by establishing...... middle of paper ...... working together. Although conflicts slowed down our work , we managed to resolve them and move forward towards our goal. I would really like to work together again, but there are some aspects that I would like to change and improve to make our group even more successful. First, develop a plan. of action and set deadlines, so that everyone performs a little more a little more responsibly Second, change the cultural problem by being late to every meeting, because waiting for others can be distracting and irritating. thing is to suggest being more open and not hesitating to openly display their thoughts and opinions, which could bring about more creative solutions. Each member of the group had their own place, their own duty and was ready to propose. provide assistance if something was wrong or misunderstood. A climate of support leads to the initiation of a friendship between members and this is in my opinion the appearance and action of the group..
