  • Essay / I want to pursue higher education - 643

By conducting research that creates new understanding, new technologies, and potential for action, my goal in pursuing higher education at this stage of my life is to propel my professional presence and my career. . I strongly believe in the potential of graduate education and research to address society's challenges, accelerate growth toward new, life-changing solutions, and drive progress in technology, economics, and other areas. Much of our improved health, wealth, and overall well-being, whether environmental, cultural, social, or spiritual, has been made possible by research conducted by universities and by the actions of people who benefit from the benefits of their university education. Even though important research in a broad spectrum is currently underway in my country, research in the sensitive field of aerospace and astronautics has been completely overlooked. Although higher education can be pursued at any time, I consider this as the first stepping stone and first point of contact to address societal issues at local, national and international levels and hence no more time can be wasted. Having been exposed to research since my undergraduate degree at the Energy Center, a research institute of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, I have a clear-eyed understanding of the relationship between research and development and its impact underlying. Currently, a research project on the Solar Export Potential Study (SEPS) for Ghana has opened my eyes to my latency. This research gave me the opportunity to further explore my abilities to use geographic information systems (GIS) to implement critical solutions for the project. I believe in questioning traditions and contradictions... middle of paper ......try. I want to be a leading force in driving manufacturing in my country's aviation sector, which is currently at an all-time low. Even though some of my ideas may seem crazy, I believe that anything is possible. I participated in the Urban Lifeline Mapping project in a slum in Ghana. It was crazy and very impossible from many skeptics' point of view, but it was achieved and marked as the first urban mapping of a slum using GIS in the world. Currently, facilities and resources for aeronautical research are lacking in my country. and that is the void that this graduate program can fill. As a top higher education institution, I believe everything is on the right track for me to pursue this higher education to improve the conditions in my country. I will also achieve this thanks to the networking opportunities that await me at this noisy graduate institution..
