Special Education Student Assessment and EvaluationAssessing and evaluating students, as a teacher, carries many burdens of how to do it fairly and honest. The ability to assess special education students will be a very difficult thing to do because each of these students has unique circumstances as to how they will be assessed. I can foresee that grading will provide a difficult test in class. I believe the biggest task will be creating fair but challenging methods of evaluating students. These burdens are going to be heavy to focus on, but with the quality education I am and will receive, I hope I can meet these challenges. Special education students create a very unique set of circumstances because in these exceptional situations students will be evaluated at the grade level they are currently attending due to the No Child Left Behind program.
