EARLY LIFE: What does the girl destined to be next in a long line of Slayers do in the first fifteen years of her life? Well, if you're Buffy Summers and you never had a Watcher until you got called up, you do what every other girl in LA would do: stay pretty, steal lipstick, painting your nails and thinking about really vapid and superficial things. Buffy excelled at it. She was even named Fiesta Queen (Hemery High's version of May Queen). Most of her life was filled with boys and clothes, without much thought, homework, or worry about the future. She loved figure skating, taking lessons and even cutting her hair like her ice skating idol, Dorothy Hamill. Her favorite stuffed animal was a stuffed pig she called Mr. Gordo. CALLING LIKE THE KILLER: Waiting for Tyler (her on-again, off-again boyfriend) to crawl on his hands and knees begging her to go to school. dancing with her, a very peculiar man in a suit approached her, informing her of her fate. Truth be told, she thought Merrick, her first Watcher, was a little crazy, until she found herself in her first graveyard, fighting a guy who desperately needed a facial. It wasn't until she drove the stake through the first vampire's heart and saw it explode that she truly believed him. She spent many nights wishing she could return to ignorance, and as she grew as a Slayer, she also slowly lost her popularity. Unfortunately, her parents' relationship only got worse, and when Buffy came clean to her parents that she was the Slayer, they sent her to a mental hospital. She was there only two weeks and quickly realized that if she didn't mention anything about vampires - if she lied - they would let her out. And they did. middle of paper ... the extravagant plan to share power with all the potential Slayers in the world, to create an army to stop the massive arsenal of Uber vampires lurking beneath the Hellmouth. But it was Spike. who did most of the work. A trinket, given to Angel by Wolfram & Hart, was to be worn by a champion, someone more than human but with a soul. This trinket caused the Hellmouth to collapse and every super-vamp was wiped out. and for a quiet moment, Buffy and Spike were on the same page, hands on fire, confessing their feelings. And then everything disappeared. Spike burned under the new Sunnydale High School, and the entire town collapsed as the school bus with the potential flew out of town with Buffy clinging on for dear life. Staring into the abyss, Dawn asked Buffy what she planned to do, since she was no longer the Chosen One...
