Approximately 43.8 million people smoke cigarettes, but this figure is only an estimate in the United States. Just think about how many people smoke in the world! Smoking cigarettes is an addiction problem that people around the world face. In my opinion, smoking cigarettes is a bad addictive habit. It's likely that many people who smoke don't know what it does to their body when they inhale toxic gases. Smoking cigarettes is a dangerous and addictive habit that many people have. You may be wondering, “Why are cigarettes so bad?” » Smoking harms both the heart and blood vessels. Cigarette smoke facilitates the activity of blood platelets, which causes blood to clot. It also weakens the ability of blood vessels to contract and expand to regulate blood flow. These adjustments ease arterial blockages, which can cause a serious stroke or heart attack. When smokers inhale, hot gases burn the inside of the airways and large particles enter the airways of the lungs. After a while, the smoke disfigures the lungs and damages the cilia, which are numerous micro-hairs that line the lungs and keep them clean. This increases the risk of contracting bronchitis, flu and other lung infections. Smoke damages the small air sacs in the lungs, which can cause emphysema in the smoker; it is a serious lung disease. The contents of these cigarettes are a big part of why smoking is such a dangerous habit. Tobacco smoke contains more than 4,000 chemicals, including many carcinogens, substances known to help cause cancer. Tobacco smoke contains other chemicals that coat and dissolve the airways of the lungs and disrupt the normal functioning of the blood and blood vessels. I couldn't believe she left and I still think about her from time to time and how much I miss her. Smoking not only kills a person, but it kills their family emotionally. Not only does smoking kill a person, but it also kills relationships, families, friends and bonds. Smoking is not only a problem for the person who does it, but also for those around them and their family. Smoking cigarettes is not worth it. Life is a precious gift we have, don't waste it on smoking
