Liberty Theological SeminaryA Review of “Sharing Jesus Without Fear”Bibliographic entryFay, William. Share Jesus Without Fear (2nd edition). Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 2000. Author Information William “Bill” Fay has lived life on a roller coaster. His seemingly normal childhood and youth were followed by a double dose of selfishness along with a bit of crime. He was a self-made man, provided that we don't count the victims of his crooked game. Fay becomes aware of a growing void that cannot be filled. After several contacts with Christians, Fay finally invited Jesus Christ to be her savior. Fay now runs the Bread for Life Foundation and hosts a syndicated radio show. Fay used his business acumen to build a method of witnessing that he shares with Christians around the world. Linda Evans Shepherd is a wife, mother, accomplished author and nationally known speaker. Shepherd is president of Shepherd Heart Productions and manages the Right To Heart of Women program which includes a radio show and online encouragement materials. She is the author of 25 books, including the Potluck Club series. Content Summary William Fay is the kind of man people listen to; and for good reason. William Fay regularly confesses to her previous criminal life and the celebrity lifestyle she bought into. His early adult life was a solar system away from his childhood. Raised in a wealthy family, Fay had many advantages over other children his age. But as if software was installed, his hard drive changed. William Fay became a self-centered man with an extraordinary drive to succeed. He led a double life: corporate CEO and criminal. By day he managed and operated several million dollars middle of paper......comfortable with the planned repartee. Fay's underlying message seemed to be that God would accept her, so God would accept anyone. Additionally, he believes that Christians should be able to pick up the book, apply the methods immediately, and feel the support of the Holy Spirit. For some, the method represents a giant step forward. Conversely, others will adopt the method and go through their list of unsaved relatives and friends. In conclusion, light is shed on an activity that could seem mysterious or frightening. Overall, the arguments presented cannot be denied: God expects us to share our faith in Jesus Christ. The book could be used as a witness training tool in any church at little cost. Failure to fulfill our obligation is not an option. We have a responsibility to be obedient to present the message to the lost souls around us.
