In addition, the education sector has also been successful in motivating millions of Filipinos to volunteer and donate during the Brigada Eskwela activities held every year, two weeks before classes open in June. With the recent developments and improvements in our education system, inclusive education has become more evident and is now felt more by stakeholders, especially students. The three recent laws that have made the presence of inclusive education felt are the Early Childhood Act of 2013, the Kindergarten Act of 2012 and the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013. These three laws all contain provisions in favor of inclusive education. The DepEd also created and increased emphasis on Indigenous Peoples Education and Muslim Education (MADRASAH) to make education more accessible to all Filipinos in any part of the country.
