Well, it's certainly hard to provoke. Mainly because people seem to lack a fundamental understanding of the food we eat. Sometimes they don't know it, based on the labels they see in grocery stores. The average grocery store has 47,000 products. However, the film indicates that not enough companies/cultures are actually involved. Not much variation to speak of. Take beef packers for example: 80% of the four major beef packers control the emporium, up from 25% in the 1970s. Even more troublesome, an estimated 70% of the foods sold in our grocery stores contain genetically modified ingredients . I believe that such mass production by companies is purely due to price. We can even return to corn, an essential part of factory feed. Corn is cheap, which equals cheap meat. A meat which of course carries risks.
