    Wayne Gretzky Few can argue that Wayne Gretzky dominated the game every time he stepped on the ice. No player is given the name “The GreatOne” for no reason, and he has proven it since his first year in the NHL. Wayne Gretzky is by far the greatest Canadian hockey player of all time. He holds the record for most goals, assists and total points for the regular season and playoffs; he won more than 20 trophies throughout his career, and as part of his team(s), he won four Stanley Cup victories and three Canadian Cup championships. Even as a kid, Wayne played in leagues several years older than him and he was always racking up points. When he was just 10 years old, he was playing in his hometown hockey league in Brantford, and his parents saw that this little boy had talent. Gretzky played a very short year of junior hockey before being drafted to the NHL where he began his astonishing career and began racking up goals, assists and his many unbeatable records.
