    Take a look. Walk the hallways, aisles, kitchenette, cafeteria of your company and pay attention to conversations, body language and facial expressions, production, quality and attendance. Now report what you saw. Have you noticed how some departments interact more positively than others? Working for a successful company with many departments, it's amazing how some teams thrive and others struggle. Tasks and goals may be different. However, the culture should be the same, right? The level of incivility made the difference. The relationship between incivility and mental health affects an organization's productivity and profitability. Stress contributes to an employee's mental health. According to the Surgeon General's report on mental health, mental health "refers to the successful exercise of mental functions, resulting in productive activities, fulfilling relationships with others, and the ability to adapt to change and face adversity. Increased stress leads to many complications like migraines, back pain, neck pain and lack of sleep. Before I go any further, I want to reveal that I don't think all stress is bad. I believe it is necessary. My argument is that the stress experienced on an almost daily basis negatively impacts an employee's ability to produce quality work and work well with peers. I believe that high levels of stress affect everyone around the employee. An employee can relieve the stress of his family members. This can cause tension at home. In turn, this will lead to a decline in the level of production at work, as the employee is now facing extreme work-related stress and family stress. The cycle begins when this targeted family member puts this pressure on middle of paper...their business suffers. Again, this negative effect can be avoided if management recognizes the situation. The best employees may not be satisfied with their organization on a daily basis. However, employees who are mostly satisfied with their employer will try hard. They will come to work with a pleasant attitude. They will work to achieve their goals. They will care enough to produce ideas that will benefit the company. Employees who are satisfied with their employer most of the time will be more loyal than the dissatisfied employee. The old adage says: "It's easier to catch a bee with honey than with vinegar." Stress creates incivility and incivility contributes to stress. Organizations must recognize that satisfied and respected employees in a less stressful workplace will contribute to a successful and profitable establishment..
