Essay / No money, no morals, no children - 711
When you become a parent, you take on the responsibility of caring for the child, providing a safe environment in which your child has the ability to succeed as much as he wants. When parents don't live their lives the way they should, it can have a permanent effect on their children's lives. When a parent is unable to support themselves, even without the burden of a child, will they really be able to provide and care for a child? Is a registered sex offender really an appropriate provider for a child? The government must examine these facts and regulate how many children, if any, a couple should be allowed to have. A few weeks ago, I was watching the news and saw that the police had just arrested 14 men for trafficking child pornography. . Then it hit me: If we allow these people to have children, we are simply allowing them to have access to them whenever they want. ยป I was also looking through some magazines while I was at work and noticed an interesting article about raising children. MoneySense magazine published an article about how much it would cost to raise a child in Canada, and honestly, I was blown away by the cost. Whether we like it or not, money makes the world go round. If you can't afford enough money for your child, you shouldn't be a parent. As I said earlier, I was reading an article at work and discovered some very fascinating facts. I recently rediscovered the article and determined that I needed to write an essay on my opinion of the results. The article reveals that from birth until one day before their 19th birthday, it would cost an average of $243,660 to raise a child. This is a national average based on the cost of food, clothing and other paper costs between parents. In effect, this would provide enough money for parents to support themselves and their children. On top of that, one new child would have to be allowed for every $12,000 added to the average thereafter. This proposed wage regulation would guarantee the child's standard of living. When it comes to registered sex offenders, I believe that anyone on the registered sex offender list should not be able to have children. I also believe that you should have the right to have children until it is determined that you are unfit, just as you are innocent until proven guilty. These proposed solutions would raise the standard of living across Canada and give a larger population of children the ability to succeed. -archive/the-real-cost-of-raising-children
