Unfortunately, in the United States, it is difficult for all children to benefit from the same learning experiences. Stewart (2012) and Ripley (2013) argue for the transformation of the American education system. Stewart (2012) examines in detail how different countries have changed their education systems to benefit all children and urges the United States to do something similar, but within the context of the country's culture. Although Ripley (2013) does not agree with all practices of successful countries, she does recognize some good strategies that the United States should adopt. Finally, Schwartz (2014) wants all American students to have the chance to succeed by revamping career education. This is important because the opportunity to pursue highly effective career training could give all students the opportunity to learn more about something they are interested in and a possible career.
