What is a serial killer? A serial killer is someone who kills more than three victims in a relatively short period of time. They are mostly undetectable and kill innocent people. Many have motivations, others do not. A serial killer is someone everyone knows, a friend, a husband, a daughter, a wife, but no one ever knows what is really going on in that person's mind. Based on my reading, there are two serial killers who could match the descriptions given in the course. The two I suspect are Belle Gunness and Nannie Doss. These two brutal killers are violent and very similar in more ways than one. Belle Gunness was born as Belle Sorenson Gunness in Selbu, Norway. She's a candidate because all of her murders were centered around money. She immigrated to the United States and resided in Indiana and committed the murders in the northern United States.
