Some people imagine genetically modified foods as unhealthy and unnatural. Our grocery stores are full of genetically modified foods, but we ignore it because the foods are not labeled. If some people see a label at the grocery store that says the product is genetically modified, they might do the opposite. Individuals may believe that genetically modified products will cause certain harm to their bodies over time. Some people are extremely pessimistic about changes related to their consumption. I am neither for nor against genetically modified foods. Changing food in my eyes could be a good thing because food could help fight world hunger and evolve plants and animals to the point where they don't get diseases. On the other hand, genetically modified foods could also be bad, because genetically modified organisms could escape captivity and cause natural organisms to become extinct, and genetically modified foods could cause allergic reactions depending on the genes in them. given. can be grown during seasons when food does not normally grow due to the new genes given to them. In the article written by Emily Anthes, she explains how a company called AquaBounty wants to create a genetically modified Atlantic salmon that can produce growth hormones during the cold months. To be honest, I have never heard of genetically modified foods causing any health problems in people who eat genetically modified foods. What do you think?
