    David Kolb published his theory of learning styles in 1984, after many years of development. His theory stated that people learn in two different stages: information input and information processing. The way people do it is also different. Consider entering information in a vertical line; a person may prefer concrete examples at the top and abstract concepts at the bottom. Information processing occurs on a horizontal line with active experimentation on the left and reflective observation on the right. There are therefore four stages in this cycle:1.
