    Reading the stories of people with disabilities offers unique insight into their personal experiences, both as domestic workers and creative writers abroad. By writing their own voices, these women are able to assert and navigate their subjectivities and propose a new definition of domestic workers. The stories are the cultural productions of people with disabilities in the host country, which showed us, the general readers, the other experiences associated with domestic work. Additionally, IDW writings show us how IDWs assert and fight for their rights. For people with disabilities themselves, Sastra Buruh Migran Indonesia will improve their self-esteem and empower them. IDWs' writing and literacy activities can also inspire other IDWs. The existence of Sastra Buruh Migran Indonesia may not prevent Indonesian women from stopping working abroad, but these women will be better prepared to work abroad because they already have knowledge gained from reading the stories of people with disabilities.
