    Our topic was the social and psychological dynamics of sexuality and gender in the patriarchal system, so we linked this to chapter 4 of Dude You' re a. We use many examples from the book that relate to many examples of relief occurring throughout society today, as well as a discussion of how some feminists attempt to identify and make changes to this problem. Masculinity is constructed in a way that marginalizes femininity, emphasizing that men often use women as “accessories” to signify a masculine identity and reproduce masculine forms of superiority. The subordination of women to men is widespread in large parts of the world. We face experiences in which women are not only treated as inferior, but are also subjected to discrimination, humiliation, exploitation, oppression, control and violence. Patriarchy literally means the rule of the father in a male-dominated family. It is a social and ideological construct that considers men superior to women. Patriarchy is based on a system of unequal power relations where men control the production, reproduction and sexuality of women. It imposes stereotypes of masculinity and femininity in society that reinforce basic power relations between men and women. Patriarchy within a particular class also differs in terms of religious and regional variations. This control has developed historically and is institutionalized and legitimized by several ideologies, social practices and institutions, including family, religion, education, media, society and more.
