Starbucks Corporation was established in 1985.• Its first location was at Pike Place Market in Seattle. Today there are more than 19,000 retail stores in more than 60 countries.• Starbucks Coffee Company was founded by Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl and Gordon Bowker.• Starbucks' purpose is to inspire and nourish the spirit human – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time. (Starbucks, 2014). Starbucks Company has an excellent balance between productivity and social integrity. Product: • In addition to quality coffee, Starbucks offers a variety of craft beverages, teas, waters, pastries, sandwiches and salads. Starbuck also has espresso machines and coffee makers in its retail stores. Starbucks also offers its customers novelty items. Target Market: • Many sites are located in cities to target educated and career-oriented consumers. Starbucks' primary target market is men and women aged 25-40 making up 49%, then young adults aged 18-24 making up 40% and children and teenagers aged 13-17 represent 2% of the market.
