Essay / Oppression Case Study - 1338
How can this situation be compared to other forms of discrimination? Consider the example of criminal activities and how they are viewed and reflected upon by the human race (racism, discrimination, intolerance, and extremism: learning from experiences in Greece and Hungary 2002). Negatively of course and analyzed considered intolerant. You will agree that no one will like to be associated with a criminal in society except other criminals. Kevin, in this case, was discriminated against not only by his coworkers but also by management. Immediate dismissal is not fair at all. Logically, criminal society is discriminated against and will end up being deprived of certain advantages such as freedom of movement in the neighborhood. People will view them as dangerous people, which of course we all agree on. Now answering the question above with the example given above, isn't intolerance incomparable to discrimination? Are there any legal proceedings that can be taken? Why or why not? Legal action can certainly be taken, however, not by the organization but by the government since the organization Kevin works for does not have a documented policy against such issues. The current government has strict policies to counter the injustices Kevin faced during his tenure.
