On the contrary, research conducted on male prostitutes focuses on power dynamics and masculinity applied to sex work (Comte, 2013). Research conducted on male prostitutes indicates that, compared to most female prostitution, male sex workers organized. There isn't a lot of research; despite the fact that male prostitution has been identified in countries around the world and proven to be a well-established activity. Gap in the Literature Despite the immense amount of research, there are many limitations. Limitations that affected this particular study were the lack of research representing the male prostitute population. Specifically, the research focuses on women who have been arrested, imprisoned, or who have sought therapeutic help. There are no national and international lists of prostitutes, which generally detracts from the middle of the document......these centers/programs are specifically targeted because they relate to the variables measured in this study. To eliminate any possible researcher bias, agency coordinators will be provided with an overview of the study so that they can recommend children/youth to choose for this study. In addition, agency coordinators will not know that the study focuses specifically on prostitution. They will be misinformed and told that this study will measure child victimization and behavior into adulthood. Their task will be to choose children without distinction of race, gender and class. The only exception will be that the proportion of the sexes must be equal, in order to accurately compare the difference between the sexes.
