    Parallelism is a repetition of words, phrases, or sentences that have the same grammatical structure or express a similar idea. We first see the phrase "what can be done" when the main character describes her husband's insensitivity to her illness. She said: “You see, he doesn’t believe I’m sick! And what can we do?
