Graduation was an important day for me. It was the day I graduated from Loch Raven High School. As the day approached, I began to think about my future after high school, which involved continuing my education at Morgan State University. May 31, 2013 was the start of the first step in building a career for my future. This would be the day I graduated from Loch Raven High School and received my diploma. Our school would have the honor of being the first of many schools to graduate in the brand new Towson Arena. When the day came, I couldn't wait to receive my diploma and begin my academic career. When the time came, I had to start preparing. I had to wear a purple dress and a purple hat. I hated wearing this dress because it was so long it came almost to my feet, it was also too baggy and the foul fabrics smelled. When I finished getting dressed I started to walk out the door just to be surprised at how hot it was.
