    Controversies over drugs and their physical, mental and emotional effects have existed for centuries. Some claim that smoking marijuana has no effect on the health of the body. Some also say that other drugs have no long-term mental consequences. Today, thanks to technology and hours of study, answers have been provided to demonstrate the true long-term effects of drugs on the health of the human body and mind. Marijuana is one of the most popular drugs in the world. Many people know it as a way to get high and just relax. Its effects on the mind and psyche appeal to many musicians and writers because they can deepen their creative thoughts. It is also popular as a medicine to control pain and seizures. In Jamaica, the herb is a popular medicine for glaucoma. This drug also imposes many negative health effects, among which are erectile problems and reduced sperm count. Other effects include cancer, memory loss and euphoric effects. Marijuana also contains at least four times more toxins and cancer-causing chemicals than cigarettes. Although many people consider it cool or safe, marijuana certainly has health effects that negatively affect the human body. (Effects/methodsofhealing.com) Many people who have smoked marijuana also try other drugs to get a different type of high. Cocaine is a powerful stimulant that directly affects the brain. This powerful medication works in very small doses by making a person feel more alert or energetic. Although people may think that the drug helps them complete tasks faster with fewer complications, it also comes with a list of effects.
