In today's world, almost everything you buy, lest it be grown in your own backyard, travels thousands of miles to arrive at your doorstep. This is due to economic globalization and economic integration, which have provided the world with a platform to interact peacefully. Although conflicts and wars seem inevitable, economic integration and economic globalization, first introduced by the Bretton Woods Conference in 1994, have changed the way nations communicate with each other. Countries are no longer influenced by selfish goals, but by inclusive goals that incentivize nations not to attack. This article aims to argue that economic globalization and economic integration actually reduce the likelihood of conflict and war due to i) the creation of linkages between countries. interests that lead them to protect rather than start war, ii) liberalism anchored throughout the world and iii) diversification of goods. For the purposes of this article, tensions and conflicts are expressed when countries have difficulties with other countries. This article expresses the war on an international scale.
