Most importantly, I believe it is important for people to know if they have a specific sense of place and if they are treated equally within their environment . As for me, I am happy with my geography because my sense of belonging is my home and because I feel like I am treated equally within my environment. Additionally, not only has my home been a safe place for me when I feel lost or vulnerable, but my home has brought me many good and bad memories that I will always cherish throughout my life. And for those reasons, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else because of what I've experienced emotionally and mentally since living there. Unfortunately, although I have many positive examples of how my human geography has changed my life, I believe that globalization is doing exactly the same effect..
