Culture has been connected since the beginning of human history. Culture is not a neutral concept, rather it is found in all social, political and historical activities. A person's culture begins by developing from the family itself and passing through various stages such as gender, race, ethnicity, education, religious practices and life experience , etc. Culture is defined as a “set of socially shared values, beliefs or norms and values”. plays an important role in cognitive function and influences people's perceptions and reactions to life events. .My cultural identity, that of the Indian/Australian environment. Also, it is one of the work ethics in nursing. Nursing experts say compassion is at the heart of nursing and advise nursing students to develop this skill throughout their periods of study. Compassion goes beyond the concept of simple sympathy towards someone, but also involves a transfer of emotion that can lead to useful action'' (.Baughan, Jacqui,Smith,Ann2013). I believe that in my future profession, my compassionate skills will surely reduce patients' anxiety, relieve their pain and improve their progress by reassuring them. “Compassion is an essential component of good nursing care and can be communicated through the smallest actions” (Katherine Curtis 2015). When I was a medical assistant in the UK, I always try to spend some time with my patients when I finished my daily routines, during this small conversation, I realized that it was a big relief for my patients from their physical and mental stressful situation. I believe this is a good step for my future
